Batavia, IL – With sales increasing, Tour Edge is expanding its sales force. Recent hires include Larry Lida (GA, SC-FL Panhandle, SE AL), Nathan Kerr (TN, KY), John Roberts (OK, AR), and Tom Henderson who will work the North Carolina and South Carolina territory at the on-course level only. Tour Edge Golf president and founder, David Glod says the new sales hires will help the company expand its business in a difficult economy.
To further support the sales effort, Tour Edge has contracted with the Duran Group to test market an inside call center that will work hand in hand with its outside sales representatives. The call center will be located at the Duran Group’s corporate headquarters in Buena Park, California. According to Glod, “The Duran Group will give us more contact points with buyers, increase sales and build awareness for our company especially at the green grass level. I am really excited about the year. We have everything lined up to have a solid year. Our record setting 1st and 2nd place finishes at the PGA Tour’s Verizon Heritage, four clubs on the Golf Digest 2009 Hot List, great marketing and our best product ever will result in a profitable year for Tour Edge despite the industry being down.” There may be a lot of bad news coming from the economy right now but officials at Tour Edge say business is definitely picking up.
Located in Batavia, IL, Tour Edge Golf has forged a name for itself as a producer of high-quality golf clubs that are sold at unbeatable prices and backed by a lifetime warranty. Tour Edge clubs are distributed throughout the United States and the world. Availability ranges from some of the finest green-grass locations in the country to the largest off-course golf shops.
