VooDoo® helps propel Aldila to top wood, hybrid shaft manufacturer at Byron Nelson

Dominate as wood and hybrid shafts of choice at NCAA Women’s Championship

POWAY, Calif. – Led by their number one shaft, the VooDoo®, Aldila once again garnered the top spot as the woods and hybrids shaft manufacturer of choice on the PGA Tour, according to the Darrell Survey.

Not only did Aldila win the woods count at the Byron Nelson Championship, but they had almost three times as many hybrid shafts in play as the next leading competitor.

“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” also had a major presence at the NCAA Women’s Championships this past weekend as Aldila dominated the field with almost twice as many wood shafts in play as the next leading shaft manufacturer and nearly three times the number of hybrids in play.

From the collegiate level to the pros, the VooDoo’s outstanding accuracy, stability and increased distance provided by its patent pending S-core Technology™ continues to convince players to make the switch.

“The internal carbon-fiber rib system of the VooDoo gives players more distance by increasing the cross sectional stiffness while the degree of cross sectional deformation (ovaling) during the golf swing is reduced,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “This more energy is stored in pure bending and released into the ball at impact. Simply put, the VooDoo helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match.”

Aldila isn’t just a golf company; it’s a materials-science think tank that’s constantly researching the potential of physical and chemical compounds. They discover them first so you don’t have to wait until tomorrow to improve your game.
