Some months are better than others and May has been a good one for Nickent Golf. To start it off the winner of the Sybase Classic shot 14 under par on the way to her second career LPGA TOUR title. The player’s previous win came at the 2008 LPGA State Farm Classic. The 53rd ranked player on the LPGA won the Sybase Classic with a 9-degree Nickent 4DX Driver as well as a Nickent 23-degree 3DX ironwood.
“At the State Farm (in 2008) I didn’t expect to win that tournament, but the opportunity presented itself to me,” she said through an interpreter. “I played with a lot of great players (in this event) and from the first day when I made that hole-in-one I knew that trophy was waiting for me and I needed to do everything in my power to win this tournament.”
“Our full-line of products have regularly shown in the past to be among the best on the TOUR,” said John Hoeflich, President and club designer for Nickent Golf. “We couldn’t be prouder of the winner of the Sybase Classic and wish her continued to success. It is a testament to our full team at Nickent that a company of our size can say that we have won 43 times on the professional tours.”
While Nickent proudly congratulated the winner of the LPGA Sybase Classic, the accolades for the King of Hybrids™ continued, proving that Nickent Golf is second to none in product performance and technology. Twice a year, The Hackers Paradise (thehackersparadise.com) awards the Bi-Annual Golfer’s Choice Awards for equipment, accessories, and apparel that have excelled. The finalists for each award are chosen and voted on by actual consumers. In this edition of the awards, the Nickent 5DX ironwood received top honors in the hybrid category, outperforming products from some of the biggest names in the industry, strengthening the reputation of Nickent as The King of Hybrids™.
The award-winning month continued for the King of Hybrids™, when the 3DX RC Ironwood received the Partners Club Member Tested Seal of Approval from the PGA TOUR Partners Club. The 3DX RC Ironwood has been recommended by one-hundred percent of the members that were given the opportunity to test the hybrid. The 3DX RC Ironwood features patented XW inserts that help greatly increase the MOI as well as provide extreme heel and toe weighting with more solid feel. The XW inserts help dampen vibration while weight in each port helps create a more stable clubhead with optimal weight distribution to eliminate the “pull hook” that is usually associated with other leading hybrids. The shallow face makes it easier to get shots airborne from the fairway or the rough.
