ORLANDO, FL – (June 1, 2009) – Get ready for the loudest photo opportunity in the history of golf-and did we mention the loudest golf tournament as well?
LoudMouth Golf Radio’s “Loudest, Funnest Golf Tournament Ever” kicks off on Thursday June 4th at the Reunion Golf Resort in Orlando, Florida. Over 100 loudmouth golfers are expected to tee off in LoudMouth’s colorful trousers at the 1 p.m. shotgun event, sponsored by LoudMouth Golf Radio. The tournament features a 2-man modified scramble.
The picturesque finale will be a retina-burning group shot of all the players modeling their LoudMouth Golf pants.
“We view this event as a growing competitor to Fashion Week in New York and Paris,” said LoudMouth Golf CEO Larry Jackson. “Rather than beautiful models adorned with cherubic wings, we’ll have over 100 handsome gentlemen whose natural beauty will be subtly accented by outstanding LoudMouth Golf pants!” During the tournament, the designer/founder of LoudMouth Golf pants, Scott “Woody” Woodworth, will be on hand to discuss his sartorial smarts and retro designs.
Golfers signing up for the tournament will receive lots of perks, including a free pair of LoudMouth pants, complimentary greens fee and cart, lunch, Yuengling beer and snacks on the course and bar food during the after-party. The winning team will get bragging rights live on air later that night during the weekly LoudMouth Golf Radio show (www.loudmouthgolfradio.com), anchored by Scott Sterner and Andrew Melton.
The tournament will also offer some serious golf instruction as well-2004 REMAX Champion Bobby Wilson will hold a long drive clinic at noon. Wilson has been a world champion top-ranked long driver for a quarter century and is the all-time leading money winner on the LDA Tour.
