The Club Foundation, the only 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to funding high-quality educational initiatives to the club industry, is pleased to announce that the Florida Chapter of CMAA has pledged $100,000 to support the professional development of club managers. This pledge once again demonstrates the chapter’s willingness to contribute to the success of The Foundation’s Scholarships and Grants Program. Michael Seabrook, CCM, General Manager of The Club at Mediterra and President of the Florida Chapter says, “The Florida Chapter recognizes the important role The Club Foundation plays in the industry and we are excited to continue our financial support of their educational initiatives. We also recognize the outstanding efforts of The Foundation’s Chairman, Jay DiPietro, CCM, and happily provide these funds to assist The Foundation in its strategic goals.” Since the inception of The Club Foundation in 1988, the Florida Chapter has donated more than $250,000. Seth Gregg, COO of The Club Foundation acknowledges, “We are extremely grateful to the Florida Chapter for committing to this level of support. We could not successfully fund all of our beneficial activities without this kind of contribution.”
