Dixon Golf’s High-Performance Eco-Friendly Earth Ball Used To Win The International Pairs Qualifier at ING Spring Conference

Mesa, AZ – Dixon Golf, manufacturer of the High-Performance Eco-Friendly Earth golf ball announced today that Cody Law played a Dixon Earth golf ball to qualify for the prestigious International Pairs World Final to be held October 10th – 13th at Monifieth Golf Links and Carnoustie Golf Links in Angus, Scotland.

Cody Law, of Golf Mesquite Nevada, and Jim Kahn, of Golf Digest Publications, teamed up to score 44 points to win the ING/International Pairs World Qualifier held during the 19th Annual ING Spring Conference at French Lick Resort. The best-ball modified Stableford qualifying event was held on the new Pete Dye Golf Course at French Lick Resort as part of the annual networking and educational gathering conducted by the non-profit organization, The International Network of Golf.

Conceived in the UK in 1998 as a golf tournament to celebrate the millennium, the International Pairs is now firmly established as a major event in the diaries of thousands of golf clubs worldwide. Tens of thousands of golfers take part each year and the tournament is continuing to expand internationally with new countries becoming involved on a regular basis. More than 30 countries have been represented by their national champions since the inaugural World Final in 2004 and the title of International Pairs World Champions has been held by pairs from three different continents.

“I’m not that great a golfer,” said Cody Law, International Pairs qualifier. “I’ve only been consistently playing the game for about 4 years now. I was introduced to the Dixon Earth ball through a partnership we have with PGA Magazine. My rep at the magazine told me that the ball quality was somewhere between a Titleist NXT and a ProV1. When we got the balls I felt how soft they were and was impressed. The round I played in Indiana to win the trip to Scotland was the first round I played with the Dixon Earth ball. The course I played was very difficult. Playing the whole round with one sleeve was a pretty huge accomplishment.”

Dixon Earth – Good For The Environment Better For Your Game!

Unlike other Golf Ball Brands who use harsh heavy-metal pollutants like tungsten, cobalt and lead, and contain non-renewable synthetic materials and compounds; the Dixon Earth golf ball is “green” to the core. Even the packaging is made from 100% recycled material. From core to cover, from packaging to production, Dixon Earth is setting a new standard in environmental consciousness.

Amazingly; Dixon didn’t have to sacrifice playability to become environmentally friendly. Just the opposite, the Dixon High-Performance Earth golf ball outperformed the Nike One Platinum, Callaway Tour ix and Titleist Pro V1, in independent testing by PGA TOUR Partners Club, and received an incredible 92% Approval Rating!

Dixon’s High-Performance Earth golf ball is the “Official Ball” of the 2009 Egolf Professional Tour.
