Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., June 4, 2009 – Carol Corcoran, chief administrative officer for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has joined the Board of Directors for the EWGA (Executive Women’s Golf Association), an international women’s golf organization dedicated to connecting women to learn, play and enjoy golf for business and fun. At the LPGA, Corcoran is responsible for the human resources functions, information technology, the LPGA Foundation and acts as staff liaison to the Commissioner’s Advisory Council. She will serve as the LPGA representative on the EWGA Association Board, replacing Bill Susetka, LPGA chief marketing officer who recently left the organization and has joined the LPGA Advisory Council.
Prior to joining the LPGA, Corcoran was a senior consultant with Nike, Inc. She has served as senior vice president of human resources and diversity at Tufts Health Plan (THP), and as corporate vice president for human resources and organizational development for Canyon Ranch. Her extensive administrative and human resources experience includes leadership positions with Weber Shandwick Worldwide, the largest global public relations agency; Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Hampshire; and Columbo Yogurt. She is a graduate of Northeastern University, Boston, MA and now lives in Palm Coast, Florida.

Pam Swensen is the CEO of the EWGA.
