Winner Of The LPGA’s State Farm Classic, The Nationwide Tour’s Melwood Prince George’s County Open And The Champions Tour’s Triton Financial Classic, All Donned Softspikes Brand Cleats; Softspikes Also Captures The Cleat Field At The PGA TOUR’s The Memori
Brentwood, Tennessee, June 8, 2009 … Softspikes® golf cleats – the world’s best selling cleat brand – captured a weekend sweep on all professional golf tours this past weekend. The Company has announced that the winner of the LPGA’s State Farm Classic and the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s Melwood Prince George’s County Open both wore Softspikes Pulsar® cleats, the #1 Cleat on Tour, while the winner of the Champions Tour’s Triton Financial Classic donned Softspikes brand cleats. Additionally, Softspikes once again captured the plastic cleat field on the PGA TOUR, as 60% of the players at The Memorial wore the Company’s arsenal of products.
Complementing Softspikes weekend sweep, 19 of the top 27 finishers at the LPGA Tour’s State Farm Classic wore PrideSports products overall, as did 33 of the top 35 finishers at the Nationwide Tours Melwood Prince George’s County Open. Moreover, an impressive 26 of the top 28 finishers at the Champions Tour’s Triton Financial Classic all utilized PrideSports and Softspikes products.
