June 11, 2009 (Oak Brook Terrace, IL) Zero Friction staff player Mark Wilson added another top finish to his 2009 season at the Memorial Tournament. Wilson took home a tie for third at the event which was held at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, OH.
Wilson posted rounds of 68, 70, 69, and 73 for a total of -8 on the week. It is his fourth top-25 of the year and his third in a row. Wilson also scored a victory earlier this season at the Mayakoba Golf Classic where he won by 2 strokes.
The Zero Friction Performance Golf Tee has a unique three-pronged design that significantly reduces the contact area between the ball and tee at impact. The tees have also accounted for over 50 professional victories and more than 300 top-ten finishes.
Wilson, who is in his first season as a Zero Friction staff player, had an 82.1% driving accuracy (4th in the field). He also was the best in the field in putts per GIR (1.609) and was 2nd in total birdies with 21.
A University of North Carolina alumni, Wilson heads into the summer riding one of the most productive stretches of his professional career.
