(VIENNA, VA) – Increasing its presence to 10 properties in Ohio, golf-course owner / operator Billy Casper Golf (“BCG”) has been selected to manage the popular Valleywood Golf Club just west of Toledo.
Under the multi-year agreement, BCG will turnkey all aspects of Valleywood’s golf course and property maintenance, staffing and training, clubhouse operations, food and beverage, merchandising, golf instruction, marketing and public relations, special events and financial management.
Celebrating its 80th anniversary and well known for its classic design, the par-71, 6,364-yard layout is a shot-making test. Narrow and tree-lined, Valleywood boasts elevated tee boxes and small, challenging greens well-guarded by 32 strategically placed bunkers. The signature 18th hole brings golfers home in style, as soaring shots from the elevated tee feed into a low fairway with the clubhouse’s huge elegant windows providing a backdrop. For decades, Valleywood has been a preferred venue for golf outings, weddings and special events. To further strengthen this amenity, Jennifer Steyn has been named the new Food and Beverage Director, joining the club from similar positions at Hilton and Westin hotels.
