NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (June 22, 2009) – KZG, the #1 Custom ProLine™, introduces its new ‘Hybrid Scoring Set’ for mid-to-high handicap players. This innovative set consists of the HSS-Irons coupled with the HSS-Plus hybrids and allows the professional clubfitter to form the ultimate custom set.

Both the HSS-Irons and the HSS-Plus hybrids are designed with oversized heads for both added confidence at address and ease of play. The low center of gravity assures a higher trajectory. Both models have similar top lines and overlapping loft configurations for a seamless transition throughout the set. The professional fitter will be able to create the ideal custom set because the HSS Plus #5 and #6 are interchangeable with the HSS Irons #5 and #6. A KZG Authorized Professional Fitter can determine which ‘Hybrid Scoring Set’ combination is most appropriate based on individual swing characteristics.
The HSS-Plus hybrids are cast in KZG’s proprietary alloy for bendability up to three degrees. Each hybrid contains two weight ports utilizing KZG’s Gravitational Force Technology with seven screw weight options for easy adjustments in draw/fade bias, swing weight, spin and center of gravity. The MSRP for a HSS-Plus hybrid is $149 in graphite. It is available in RH (#3, 4, 5 & 6) and LH (#3, 4 & 5).
The HSS-Irons are cast in soft proprietary alloy giving a “feel of forged” and bendability up to four degrees. The longer irons contain a very wide sole and cambered leading edge, similar to a hybrid. The sole width narrows in the shorter irons to a more traditional look, yet still maintains a large enough flange to prevent “fat” shots. The MSRP for each HSS-Iron is $85 in graphite and are available in RH (#5-PW, AW, SW) and LH (#5-PW).
