ENTRADA AT SNOW CANYON WINS 2019 TROON CUP

Scottsdale, Ariz. – The 2019 Troon Cup, featuring 58 four-person teams representing Troon-managed facilities from around the world, recently concluded at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, Calif. Played on Indian Wells Golf Resort’s award-winning Celebrity and Players Courses, the three-day event included two days of competition, parties and a practice round. With a two-day score of 29-under par, the team from Entrada at Snow Canyon in St. George, Utah were crowned the 2019 Troon Cup Champions.

Now in its 17th year, Troon Cup is held annually at a Troon-managed facility. Four-person teams consist of the head golf professional (or club representative) and three members. With 232 golfers competing in the event, the 2019 Troon Cup was one of the largest in tournament history. Tournament scoring was one net best ball and one gross best ball posted per foursome, per hole with daily and tournament leaders recognized as well as men’s and ladies closest-to-the-pin and long drive competitions. The 2019 Troon Cup was put on in partnership with Titleist and FootJoy. Proceeds from the Troon Cup benefit CORE. CORE grants support to children of food and beverage service employees navigating life-altering circumstances. In times of extreme strain brought on by family death, injury or diagnosed medical condition, loss of home, or other sudden or extreme circumstances, food and beverage families can become overwhelmed financially and emotionally.
