On May 22nd, 2009, Savant GPS, LLC received the USGA’s decision stating the OnPar Touchscreen GPS Rangefinder’s “Club Power and OnClub features…have been evaluated and it has been determined that the use of this product is permitted under the Rules of Golf”. Like all distance measuring devices, OnPar is “permitted when local rule is in effect allowing use of distance measuring devices (see USGA Decision: 14-3/0.5).”
