“Congratulations to our Troon Challenge National Finals winners and to everyone who competed in this year’s Troon Challenge Regional Qualifiers,” said Kris Strauss, senior vice president, sales and marketing, Troon. “With all of the challenges 2020 has presented, every qualifier was met with enthusiasm and engagement that exceeded our expectations. We’re fortunate that golf is a sport that can be enjoyed during the pandemic and as such, the Troon Challenge demonstrated that with the appropriate modifications – i.e. tee times versus shotgun starts, contactless digital scoring via Golf Genius and without post-round gatherings – amateur golf events can be conducted in a health-conscious and socially-distanced manner. With that, we are excited to have shared one of the most striking destinations in the country and two of the most stunning golf properties in the world in Seven Canyons and Sedona Golf Resort with our Troon Challenge National Finalists.”
The 2020 Troon Challenge was presented by Callaway Golf, along with supporting sponsors Pepsi, AHEAD, Golf Genius, Phat Scootersand Synchronicity. Phat Scooters hosted a putting contest for all participants to putt for their chance to win a Phat Scooter.
