Scottsdale, Ariz. – Regional qualifying events for the 2022 Troon Challenge sponsored by Callaway Golf® will begin May 15 and run through October at 36 facilities (and counting) in 15 different states. Two-person teams in both Net and Gross Divisions will compete to qualify for spots in the Troon Challenge National Finals. The National Finals will be held at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Indian Wells, Calif. December 9 – 11, 2022. Now in its 20th year, the Troon Challenge is Troon’s largest amateur golf event, attracting more than 1,600 golfers annually competing in regional qualifying events across the United States.
Regional qualifying events kickoff on Sunday, May 15 at Red Hawk Golf & Resort in Sparks, Nev. Golfers will compete in a Modified 2-Person Best Ball format. Entry fees for regional qualifiers vary by course, but the cost of all qualifying events includes green fee, cart, practice balls, a Callaway gift, Callaway golf balls, an official AHEAD Troon hat, on-course contests, live scoring powered by Golf Genius and event prizes.
