“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” dominate wood, hybrid counts on PGA, Nationwide Tours
POWAY, Calif. – The Nationwide Tour Players Cup champion relied on the accuracy, stability and increased distance of Aldila’s VooDoo® shaft to help drive him to his first Nationwide Tour win at the Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport, W.Va. He became the ninth winner on the PGA and Nationwide Tours this season to benefit from Aldila’s patent pending S-core Technology™.
The victory catapulted him from No. 108 to No. 10 on the Nationwide Tour Money list and a possible trip back to the PGA Tour. The Top 25 on the Money list at the end of the season earn their PGA Tour cards for the following year.
The VooDoo was also instrumental in “The Hottest Shafts In Golf” dominating the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts at the Travelers Championship and at the Nationwide Tour Players Cup as there was a combined 69 VooDoo shafts in play between the two Tours. In fact Aldila squashed the hybrid shaft competition on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours by having three times as many of their hybrid shafts in play compared to the next leading competitor.
