Apex, NC – The Bob Ford Pro-Pro Championship, held September 22-23 at Hidden Creek Golf Club, delivered an unforgettable two days of competitive golf and camaraderie among 56 Golf Professionals from private golf and country clubs across the country. The 36-hole four-ball competition showcased top-tier talent, networking opportunities, and a celebration of the game’s enduring spirit.
The event kicked off with a warm welcome cocktail hour and dinner, featuring a fireside chat with tournament honoree Bob Ford, alongside Golf Business Network(GBN) CEO Patrick Seither, Darrell Kestner, Director of Golf at Deepdale Golf Club, and Scott Paris, Director of Golf at Plainfield Country Club. Attendees, who stayed in onsite cottages, enjoyed a perfect blend of competition and connection, fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie unique to the championship.
Dylan Newman of Meadow Brook Club and Nick Yaun of Century Country Club emerged as the 2025 champions, clinching their third consecutive title with a score of 13-under-par. The final round came down to the wire, with a three-way tie at 11-under-par with just two holes remaining. Newman and Yaun sealed their victory with a eagle on the 17th hole, securing a two-stroke lead. Del Ponchock and Brandon Kuzmich of Hudson National Golf Club finished second at 11-under-par, while Connor Costello and Chris Fischer of Garden City Golf Club took third at 10-under-par.
