Shaft Skinz users on the LPGA have claimed back-to-back victories. The winner of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic in Sylvania, Ohio managed to cling on for first place by way of a play off against Morgan Pressel.
Just last week, Jiyai Shin, a long-standing fan of Shaft Skinz, set herself apart from the field by a clear 7 strokes for victory at the Wegmans LPGA.
This week’s winner, who uses Shaft Skinz (Camo design) on 2 of her utility woods, did most of the work on the Saturday with an astonishing round of 61 that included 8 birdies and an eagle. An even par final round was enough to secure the playoff place and a birdie at the first play-off hole did the rest.
With the growing number of Shaft Skinz users in the professional ranks you can expect to see these unique shaft decoration products in the winner’s circle more and more often. Even so, back-to-back wins is a first for the company.
“It’s exciting to be associated with such great professionals who are having success at the highest levels whilst using Shaft Skinz.” Explains company director, Martin Greeves.
“We want people to realize that even at the top of the game these girls are able to have fun and express themselves by decorating their shafts with designs that they love and at the same time can compete and win.”
