ASSOCIATION OF GOLF MERCHANDISERS ANNOUNCES CALL FOR ENTRIES FOR THE 2026 AGM PLATINUM AWARDS

ROCKLIN, CA — The Association of Golf Merchandisers (AGM) is proud to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 AGM Platinum Awards—a global celebration of excellence in golf retail. These prestigious awards recognize the top 100 public, private, resort, and off-course golf shops for their outstanding performance, innovation, and visual presentation.

New for 2026, AGM is excited to introduce the AGM Merchandiser of the Year distinction. This new individual honor will celebrate standout merchandisers who demonstrate exceptional creativity, leadership, and excellence in golf retail.

Applicants may apply for one or both awards. While AGM membership is not required to apply for the Platinum Awards, it is required to be considered for the Merchandiser of the Year honor.

Jennifer Morton, CEO of the AGM, shared, “We encourage golf shops, buyers, and merchandisers everywhere to share their stories, celebrate their creativity, and showcase their impact. These awards not only honor excellence—they inspire it. Your participation helps shape the future of golf retail.”

Now in its 14th year, the AGM Platinum Awards continue a legacy started 40-years ago with the Golf World 100 Best Golf Shops and AGM Front Nine Awards. Each year, entries are judged by an impartial panel of industry experts, evaluating submissions across key areas such as merchandising, management, marketing, and visual presentation.

From the top 100 selected shops, ten will be named “Best of the Best” for their exceptional overall achievement. One facility will also be honored with the Cashman Award for Visual Excellence, presented by AGM Hall of Fame members Ardie and Kevin Cashman.

Applications are due by Friday, September 5, 2025. Winners will be celebrated at the 2026 PGA Show in Orlando, Florida.
