Buyers and PGA of America Golf Professionals Shape Spring 2027 Assortments and Business Strategy at a Fashion-Forward Marketplace
FRISCO, Texas – Registration is now open for the 2026 PGA Buying Summit, scheduled for July 26–29 at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, where retail buyers and PGA of America Golf Professionals will meet with golf lifestyle brands and industry leaders at a key point in the retail cycle. Event details and complimentary registration are available at PGABuyingSummit.com.
As golf apparel evolves toward lifestyle-driven collections and faster product cycles, the PGA Buying Summit offers early access to Spring 2027 apparel and accessories as product direction takes shape. Attendees can develop fresh retail assortments ahead of broader market demand by engaging with a curated mix of nearly 200 established and emerging brands in a setting designed for focused, high-value conversations.
The shift toward lifestyle apparel and changing consumer expectations are reshaping how golf shops and retailers approach merchandising. Buyers are seeking differentiated products that perform on and off the course, and PGA of America Golf Professionals are aligning retail strategy more closely with overall facility performance and evolving member expectations. The Summit reflects these dynamics, offering a clear view of product direction and business strategy as next season’s assortments are defined.
“The PGA Buying Summit takes place at an opportune moment before the next season’s styles and trends start to take shape,” said PGA Shows Event Director Lisa Langas. “The decisions made here influence what shows up in shops months later, often before the broader market has fully reacted. It gives buyers and PGA of America Golf Professionals an early opportunity to evaluate product in person, connect with brands, and provide input on product direction.”
A full day of invitation-only ONE2ONE Buying Appointments will be followed by two days of open ballroom exhibits featuring apparel, accessories, and emerging golf lifestyle labels, and the new “Gwop Meet at the Summit —curated by Troy Aguila” will spotlight next-generation lifestyle brands.
National-level education is a core component of the Summit, linking industry trends to retail strategy, facility operations, and overall business performance. Artificial intelligence and technology advancements will be addressed by industry experts across the fields of retail and merchandising, operations, executive management, and coaching. Sessions, workshops, and hands-on learning opportunities are designed for practical applications and directly support assortment decisions, retail performance, and business strategy.
The Summit stands out with elevated peer networking events each day that create informal opportunities for connections across brands, buyers and industry leaders. From the first night’s Welcome Reception to the vibrant Summer Jam in the PGA District and the upscale Fashion Show, attendees will have multiple opportunities to connect with peers, fostering meaningful conversations and informed decisions.
Additional announcements regarding participating brands, education sessions, and special events will be shared in the coming weeks. In collaboration with the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa and Visit Frisco, attendees and their families will have access to special destination experiences during their stay.
The PGA Buying Summit is open exclusively to qualified buyers, PGA of America Golf Professionals and industry leaders. There is no event registration fee for qualified professionals through July 2, 2026. PGA of America Golf Professionals, LPGA Professionals and International PGA Members register for the event at no charge throughout the registration schedule. Event details and registration are available at PGABuyingSummit.com.
