BRADENTON, Florida — The PGA of America today announced that volunteer registration is now open for the 2027 Senior PGA Championship. The longest-running Major Championship in senior golf will be contested for a second year in a row at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, April 15-18, 2027.

The Senior PGA Championship will showcase an elite field that includes Major Champions, World Golf Hall of Famers, Ryder Cup Captains as well as the Corebridge Financial Team of 35 PGA of America Golf Professionals from across the country.
“We’re excited to build on an incredible first year at The Concession Golf Club,” said Eric Nuxol, Senior PGA Championship Director. “Our volunteers play a pivotal role in the success of the Senior PGA Championship, providing support across a variety of roles and receiving a unique chance to follow some of the most iconic players in golf. We look forward to welcoming a dedicated volunteer team when we host another unforgettable Championship next April.”
Returning in 2027 are ‘Marshal Clubs’ – which offer the ability for groups or companies to participate with friends or co-workers on the same Hole. An estimated 15-20 clubs and organizations will participate in the Marshal Program. Each group will be assigned a hole at Concession and is therefore responsible for recruiting volunteers to properly marshal that assigned hole. The Marshal Program is a unique opportunity to get involved, support the Championship, and experience world-class competition up close. Volunteer Ambassador Opportunities:
The PGA of America and The Concession are seeking over 1,000 dedicated volunteers to assist in various roles throughout Championship week. A volunteer credential will provide week-long access to the grounds for all four Championship rounds.
Volunteers are asked to commit to 3-4 shifts, totaling 16-20 total hours.
The Volunteer Package fee for first time volunteers is $150 (plus applicable tax & fees) and includes:
- Volunteer Uniform (One Nike golf shirt, one Nike jacket, and one headwear item, with the option to purchase an additional shirt)
- Meal & Water Vouchers
- Official PGA Volunteer Drawstring Bag
- Complimentary Parking
Returning volunteers have already received communication regarding opportunities to volunteer again in 2027.

Tickets for the 2027 PGA Championship are expected to be available in late Fall 2026.
