July 10, 2009 (Oak Brook Terrace, IL) Zero Friction staff player Kenny Perry is defending his title at the John Deere Classic this week. The event, which is held at TPC Deere Run is Silvis, IL, is one that Perry has had great success at and looks to continue that trend in 2009.
In 2008, Perry walked away with a win as he defeated Brad Adamonis and Jay Williamson in a playoff. At the time, it was Perry’s third victory of the year. Similarly in 2009, Perry has two victories going into this week. His top finishes have come at the FBR Open is February and at the Travelers Championship less than two weeks ago. Currently, Perry is 2nd in FedEx Cup Standings with 1,874 season points. He is also 2nd among PGA Tour Money Leaders and ranks 4th in the Official World Golf Rankings.
