NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 14, 2009 – KemperSportsTM recently announced that Keith Hanley, a top golf industry professional with more than 20 years experience, has joined the company as vice president of operations covering the south central region of the U.S.
Hanley will be tasked with leading the team overseeing the operations of several KemperSports properties including Butterfield Trail Golf Club, winner of Golf Inc. magazine’s “Development of the Year” award; Newport Dunes Golf Club in Port Aransas, Texas; and The Governors Club in Brentwood, Tenn.
Hanley most recently served as executive vice president of operations at Eagle Golf, where he gained significant experience overseeing the operations of public and private golf clubs across the country as well as supervising construction of seven new golf courses during his 13-year tenure with the management company.
A Class ‘A’ member of the PGA since 1994, Hanley has also received numerous PGA section awards including consecutive Horton Smith Awards for Education in 1998 and 1999. The annual honor is given to the PGA professional who has made outstanding contributions to PGA education.

Hanley graduated from Ferris State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business.
