NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 20, 2009 – KemperSportsTM recently named Chad Anderson as the first general manager of Cape Fear National, a private club situated in Leland, N.C., just 10 minutes outside the historic town of Wilmington, N.C. In his new position, Anderson will oversee daily operations of the club that will serve as the centerpiece of the Brunswick Forest master-planned community that spans 4,500 acres and includes 10 residential neighborhoods, professional office space and retail space with shops, dining and entertainment.
Anderson has gained experience with several private clubs in the KemperSports portfolio including Royal Melbourne Country Club in Long Grove, Ill., and Hawthorn Woods Country Club in Hawthorn Woods, Ill., before joining the staff at Brunswick Forest Fitness & Wellness Center as director of operations.

Anderson is both a member of the United States Professional Tennis Registry and the Club Managers Association of America.
Cape Fear National is a 27-hole, Tim Cate-designed course that will open for preview play on Oct. 1, with a grand opening scheduled for spring 2010. The course layout will feature a rippling landscape mixed with cypress, pine, maple, oak and magnolia trees. Multiple holes are intertwined throughout with preserved wetlands and scenic lakes to make for a natural and enjoyable walk through the course. Additional property amenities for guests include a golf shop, spacious banquet and meeting rooms as well as a bar and grill.
