The recent run of good results for Shaft Skinz tour professionals continues with a second place finish at the Open de Espana Feminino, Castellon, Spain on the Ladies European Tour.
A final round 66 brought the young Welsh rookie into a tie with 3 other players on 12 under par, some 6 shots back the winner and compatriot, Becky Brewerton.
The player in question has had the decorative shaft sleeves in play now for a few weeks and sees a significant rise up the rankings. This week alone she made a leap of 25 places to 23rd place on the Order of Merit, the third biggest rise of the week. With the purple New Fire sleeve design on her driver, 3 wood and 2 utility woods, things are really hotting up for the Welsh wonder kid in the race to become ‘rookie of the year’.
In the space of 3 weeks, Shaft Skinz players have secured 2 wins and a second place finish at tour level. The next 2 weeks sees back to back, co-sanctioned ‘majors’ on the womens’ tours and Shaft Skinz would like to wish their product ambassadors every success.
