Readers from the United States and Canada rated casino courses on a variety of topics and Sweetgrass received top marks for playability, aesthetics and selection of memorable holes.
Owned and operated by the Hannahville Indian Community, a Band of the Potawatomi Nation, Sweetgrass Golf Club – designed by Paul Albanese – stretches 7,300 yards from the tips and offers five sets of tees. Named after the aromatic herb used in Indian peace and healing rituals, this unique layout incorporates Native American heritage and challenges golfers with an island green on the signature hole, No. 15.
