(Worley, IDAHO) – They say a picture says a thousand words and seldom has that truism rung more clear than in a streaming video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B0WniiMK0Gw) about Circling Raven Golf Club (www.circlingraven.com), the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and its casino resort hotel (www.cdacasino.com) on YouTube.com – the iconic social media site which allows people worldwide to “see, touch, feel and listen” to things around the globe they wouldn’t otherwise.
The video vividly demonstrates the inspiring, unspoiled beauty of the Creator-blessed terrain, and how CDA Tribe members ensure their sacred land – through Circling Raven – paid their predecessors the homage and respect they deserve. By settling for nothing less than a course which honors the tribe and its legacy, the Coeur d’Alenes have made their tribe and its legacy known worldwide.
“We have been blessed with the history and guidance which led us to this place, this time, and this land,” said CDA Casino Resort Hotel CEO David Lasarte-Meeks, a Coeur d’Alene tribal member. “It is our ongoing mandate to ensure Circling Raven and all tribal endeavors reflect the commitment we have toward excellence and making our tribal members and ancestors proud.”
Since its first full season (2004), Circling Raven has consistently exceeded industry norms, racking up more than 40 best-in-kind awards. These include garnering awards for customer service, “Merchandiser of the Year” acclaim on multiple occasions, and Top 100 U.S. public and resort course distinction from GOLF, Golfweek and Golf Digest magazines (out of more than 13,500 such courses nationally).
Recent honors bestowed upon the Gene Bates-designed Circling Raven include:

About Circling Raven Golf Club and Coeur d’Alene Casino Resort Hotel
Owned and operated by the Coeur d’Alene Tribe and convenient to Spokane (WA) airport, the casino resort and golf club are nestled on a reservation covering 345,000 acres of mountains, lakes, old-growth forest and farmland. The resort spans the western edge of the northern Rocky Mountains. Tribal history also tells us that Circling Raven was a spiritually powerful leader, his name coming from his close relationship to the raven, who helped guide him on his journeys, warn him of danger and show him where to find fish and game.
Circling Raven was created amid a unique blend of wetlands, grasslands and woodlands. At 7,189 yards, the par 72 championship layout meanders through 620 acres, only 100 representing cultivated ground. Wildlife is abundant, including elk, deer, moose and an occasional black bear. In fact, the opening was delayed due to damage on two greens by migrating elk.
