VooDoo's S-core Technology™ helps Aldila dominate wood, hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on PGA, Nationwide Tours

POWAY, Calif. – With 57 VooDoo® shafts in play between the Buick Open and the Children’s Hospital Invitational, Aldila again captured the wood and hybrid shaft manufacturer counts on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours to retain their status as the #1 shaft on Tour.
“The Hottest Shafts In Golf” dominated the hybrid counts on both Tours winning by nearly a 2-1 margin over the next leading competitor, according to the Darrell Survey.
Using Aldila’s latest shaft technology, the R.I.P., in his Driver helped the second place finisher at the Buick Open turn in his best performance of the year and tie his career best on the PGA Tour with the second place finish. He was the only player to finish with all four rounds in the 60s shooting a 66-68-69-68. His driving average for the four rounds was 309.9 yards and his driving accuracy jumped from his regular Tour average of 134th to a tie for 12th place at the Buick Open.
“RIP is Aldila’s new shaft technology that provides a lower torque, increased tip stability and better tip stiffness control,” said Stewart Bahl, Aldila’s Marketing Manager. “The RIP is currently undergoing testing on the PGA and Nationwide Tours and is scheduled to be launched in 2010.”
On the Nationwide Tour, two of the top three players on the Money List trust the accuracy, stability and increased distance of Aldila’s hottest shaft, the VooDoo. The Top 25 on the Nationwide Tour’s Money List at the end of the season automatically earn their PGA Tour cards for the 2010 season.
What sets the VooDoo apart from the others is its patent-pending S-core (stabilized core) Technology™ designed to maximize energy transfer to the golf ball, yielding unparalleled distance and accuracy with each swing. The VooDoo’s real “magic” is the high modulus carbon stabilization rib running the length of the shaft. The innovative rib structure increases hoop strength/stiffness so much that it’s 80 percent greater than conventional graphite, and up to 60 percent greater than competitors’ attempts at cross sectional stabilization.
“The VooDoo simply helps generate consistently straight and long shots – with feel competitor shafts can’t match,” said Bahl.
Aldila has the unique ability to define the intangibles of the game of golf. To translate numbers into theory, theory into practice, and practice into perfection. They do the experimenting so you don’t have to. Pushing success to the edge and redefining how power should feel. Are you playing Aldila, or just graphite?
