Softspikes Sweeps Plastic Cleat Count On All Professional Tour’s Highlighted By Another Major Championship Victory

Stellar Weekend Includes Victories At U.S. Senior Open & Nationwide Tour’s Children’s Hospital Invitational

Brentwood, Tennessee, August 3, 2009 … Softspikes® golf cleats – the world’s best selling cleat brand – enjoyed a victorious weekend on all professional Tours, highlighted by another Major Championship victory, as the winner of the U.S. Senior Open and 76% of the plastic cleat field, including 40 of the top 49 finishers, donned the Company’s stable of products. Additionally, the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s Children’s Hospital Invitational wore Softspikes’ Black Widow® Tour™ cleats, golf’s first adjustable plastic cleat, and 33 of the top 37 finishers also wore Softspikes brand cleats.

Adding to the Company’s weekend tour wins, Softspikes dominated the weekend leaderboards with 68% of the plastic cleat field, including 25 of the top 37 finishers at the PGA TOUR’s Buick Open, and 61% of the plastic cleat field at the LPGA’s Women’s British Open, including over half of the top 40 finishers, all wore Softspikes brand cleats.
