Tiger Tops Odds to Win Bridgestone Invitational at 3/2
It’s actually getting fairly ridiculous. Last week, in this space, we talked about Tiger Woods being a 5/4 favorite to win the Buick Open, and whether it was a value play. Well, he won, so you can’t get much better value than that. And Jeff Sherman, founder of Las Vegas’ GolfOdds.com, said that Tiger’s number is set as to the strength of the field. The Buick field wasn’t stellar so it was no surprise he was a heavy favorite, but this week at the BridgeStone, the field is littered with big names and Tiger comes in at an amazing 3/2.
