Coeur d’Alene, ID – The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, Randy Henry’s Dynamic Golf Academy and aboutGolf’s PGA TOUR Simulators have teamed up to offer unique entertainment and educational golf elements to their repertoire of golf related services.
Randy Henry, founder of Henry-Griffitts Club Fitting, recently voted Best-In State for Idaho teaching professionals and former instructor of winners on the PGA, LPGA and Champions Tours, is scheduled to open Randy Henry’s Dynamic Golf Center at The Coeur d’Alene Resort’s Plaza Shops in downtown Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. RHDGC will offer local and destination golfers an exciting new venue designed to produce game improvement programs or the simple enjoyment of a round of virtual golf at its finest.
aboutGolf Limited, an Ohio based company, is considered the industry leader in developing the most sophisticated, highly advanced indoor golf simulation technology in the world using the only commercially available three-dimensional ball camera ball capturing technology to precisely measure ball spin and club kinematics on every plane with high-definition cameras and computer controlled sensors. “This is the latest, most advanced indoor simulation system available and I am excited to introduce it to Pacific Northwest Golfers,” said owner Randy Henry. “There is limitless potential to the uses of this system. The high-definition 180° panoramic screen immerses golfers in the activity. You feel as though you are actually playing on a golf course. It’s as real as it gets indoors. For instructional purposes, golfers can have their swings and putting strokes analyzed with incredible precision in seconds. It makes it that much easier to provide instant feedback and game improving instruction to golfers of all ability levels.” Randy Henry would know, he has been a primary consultant to aboutGolf Limited in the development of the PGA TOUR Simulators as an instructional and club fitting tool for PGA Professionals.
One of the many new features of the PGA TOUR Simulator is its ability to match a golfer’s swing with the best golf ball on the market for their individual game. With every leading golf ball manufacturer offering up to eight different golf ball designs, golfers are often confused with all the options available, never knowing whether they’re truly playing the right ball for their game. “Having the correct golf ball for your swing is an important part of the game.” says Randy. “Spin, control, feel and distance all play a roll depending on the skill level of each individual golfer. All it takes is three swings with a driver and a couple of preference questions. The computer then tells you which brands and golf ball model is the optimum choice for your game.”
The Coeur d’Alene Resort and Golf Course is offering up some new and unique golf packages to include some of Randy’s exciting new golf activities, utilizing the PGA TOUR Simulator to enhance golfer’s experience during their stay at the resort. Award winning golf instruction with Randy Henry’s Golf Academy, golf ball fittings, club fittings and entertainment packages are among several golf programs that will soon be available at The Coeur d’Alene Golf & Spa Resort. Director of Golf at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course, Bob Nuttelman, is thrilled with the thought of adding a new dimension of golf related enhancements to the resort. “Golfers travel from great distances to play the Floating Green in the summer months. Now we’ll soon have a winter option to play the Floating Green and bring in one of the top golf instructors in the Northwest for our guests.”
The Coeur d’Alene Resort is kicking off the new partnership with Randy Henry’s Dynamic Golf Center promoting a limited time, one night instructional golf package to include: Two hours of indoor PGA TOUR Simulator instruction on the evening of arrival, two hours of instruction the next morning at The Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course practice facility, lunch overlooking the world’s only Floating Green culminated with a round of golf at the award winning resort golf course. Golfers will also have the option to play 18 holes of simulated golf on some of the world’s most renowned golf courses in a fraction of the time it takes to play an actual golf course. Pebble Beach, St. Andrews, and the soon to be released Coeur d’Alene Resort Golf Course are among the many great golf courses available soon in full high-definition resolution for play.
