MIAMI, Fl (July 20) — Jim McLean, owner of the No. 1 Ranked Golf Schools in America has announced that he will be opening up a new golf academy at Mayakoba Resort along the Riviera Maya in Mexico this Fall.
Mayakoba, host to the PGA TOUR’s Mayakoba Golf Classic – Mexico’s first-ever PGA TOUR event, is the site of Greg Norman’s El Camaleon course. Opened in 2006, El Camaleon is a 7,000-yard golf course created to challenge golfers of every skill level, and is operated by Fairmont Hotel and Resorts.

Now, Mayakoba is poised to become THE destination in Mexico for world-class golf instruction with a brand new Jim McLean Golf Academy. Due to open on October 15, the Jim McLean Golf Academy at Mayakoba will feature a two-bay SuperStation (with the ability to expand to three bays at a moment’s notice) with the latest technology in golf analysis computer software, and certified Jim McLean Master Instructors.

The Jim McLean Golf Academy at Mayakoba will become the second international location for Jim McLean.
