Website Gets Facelift just in Time for Exclusive PGA Championship Contest Sponsored by PAHR Golf and the Start of “Putter Week”
TAMPA BAY, FL – (August 11, 2009) – The Hackers Paradise (www.thehackersparadise.com), the premier destination on the internet to discuss all things golf, today unveiled a fresh new look to its website in an effort to enhance viewer experience and streamline its original content.
“With the popularity and sudden growth of The Hackers Paradise, it became necessary to improve our site with easier-to-navigate pages and enhance the experience for all,” said President Josh Babbitt. “Many people struggle with golf websites trying to decipher actual content from an advertisement. Users of THP will not find ads, just easily accessible and informative golf-related content.”
In continuing its tradition of holding a unique contest for every PGA Tour major, THP has partnered with PAHR, makers of trendy men’s & women’s golf apparel to hold a PGA Championship contest. Readers will be asked to choose four golfers from the field with first or last names that start with P, A, H, R. The winner will receive an entire outfit (shirt, shorts, belt, hat, etc). To learn more about PAHR and their existing line-up of innovative apparel, visit their website at www.pahrgolf.com
Another contest currently taking place at THP is with Sligo Wear, makers of cutting-edge and aggressive looking golf apparel. In this contest, Sligo is asking readers to create and name an outfit. While the company has provided shorts as the starting place, readers must match a shirt and belt to pull the outfit together. Readers must then create a slogan using the letters S, L, I, G, O. The top five will be posted on the THP Forum and voted on by the site’s readers. The winning choice will be featured on the Sligo website as “August outfit of the month” and the winner will receive the entire outfit.
This week also marks the beginning of “putter week,” in which THP will review five niche putters that everyone should know about. SeeMore Putters and their private reserve collection kick started the event yesterday. Today’s article is all about Sizemore Golf, a company known for their beautiful putters and customization options. Be sure to check back all week long to gain insight on some of the world’s best putters.
THP, which launched its online forum in October 2008, is adding new members daily and has quickly become the online home to golf enthusiasts across the country garnering more than 50,000 unique visitors per month ever since holding its Huge Charity Raffle http://thehackersparadise.com/home/?p=2113 earlier this year.
Unlike other golf websites, THP produces original reviews daily ranging from the latest in men’s and women’s equipment, apparel, accessories, footwear, tees, distance measuring devices, instructional aids and more. Because THP does not accept advertising from OEM’s or other golf-related companies, readers can be sure each review is thorough and unbiased.
