HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA -August 12, 2009 – Cleveland® Golf/Srixon® congratulates Srixon staffer John Rollins for his victory at the 2009 Legends Reno-Tahoe Open. A final score of 17-under 271 earned Rollins a 3 stroke victory, as well as his 3rd career win on the PGA TOUR.
“We’re out here to win, out here to play the best we can and finish as high as you can.” said Rollins. “Hopefully I can continue the good play next week and have a chance, come Sunday afternoon on the back nine, to hoist another trophy.”
Rollins previously won the 2002 Canadian Open and 2006 B.C. Open and was the runner-up earlier this year at the Buick Invitational and Honda Classic. The $540,000 winner’s check raised his season earnings over the $2 million mark for only the second time in nine years on TOUR raising Rollins a career total of more than $12 million.
