Golf Inc. announced it would address key critical issues at its upcoming conference at La Quinta Resort & Club on September 14-16, 2009. Topics including how to fix the golf industry and everyday strategies for recessionary times were determined by feedback provided by readers and past conference attendees.
“We have really listened to people and they want to know how to make money now plus how to fix things for the long term,” said Jack Crittenden, president & publisher of Golf Inc.
This year, the Golf Inc. Conference has made positive strides to ensure it provides attendees with fresh, relevant topics. A Strategic Look into the Future with Dana Garmany will highlight the economic, societal and business trends that have led us into a slumping market and what business plans will work and what won’t for all courses: from private clubs to short courses.
Attending the Golf Inc. Conference will be a truly interactive experience and has never been more important to the future of the game. For the first time, Golf Inc. will hold a public forum, Speak Your Piece, on Wednesday, September 16 from 10:30-11:30 a.m. The editors of Golf Inc. will provide prominent industry associations with specific action steps and suggestions from attendees on the hottest topics. This spirited discussion will include: What Tiger Effect?; how the Tour can help spur play; and Customer Service Meltdown: a new approach to PGA member training.
The conference is also bringing out the industry’s elite. Representatives from companies such as BlueStar Resort & Golf, Century Golf Partners, CNL Lifestyle Company, LLC, Pegasus Golf Partners, Heritage Golf Group, JC Resorts, KemperSports, Synergy Golf Management and Troon Golf will be accessible in the intimate conference exhibit hall and at various networking events.
