Fans Have Unique Opportunity to Caddy For PGA TOUR’S Best Players As They Compete for the 2009 FedExCup

(August 25, 2009 – Coral Springs, FL) – Caddy For A Cure, Inc., the program which offers golf fans a chance to be inside the ropes to caddy for PGA TOUR professionals, is offering opportunities for three of the world’s best golfers at The Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Norton golf course. The opportunities up for auction include 2009 British Open Champion Stewart Cink, and PGA TOUR winners Anthony Kim and Camilo Villegas.

The Caddy For A Cure opportunities are being offered through the player auction links on its website (caddyforacure.com) together with eBay. Caddy For A Cure supports the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund and Wounded Warrior Project, as well as many community charities within each tournament market. 100% of auction proceeds go to charity and are fully tax deductible as allowed by law.

Caddy participants will go on the driving range, putting green and golf course, experiencing each shot first-hand and being in the middle of the action of this competitive professional golf event. The auctions will run until sold or through Tuesday, September 1st, 2009, whichever occurs first. Interested participants can win the auctions instantly at the ‘Buy-it-Now’ price or make an offer. The caddy date will be on Thursday, September 3rd during the Pro am round.

“It is such an honor to be participating again at this fantastic tournament. The day will be filled with all the excitement of a regular PGA TOUR event, but will carry that extra thrill from being a FedExCup playoff event, competing against the best players in the world,” said Russ Holden, Caddy For A Cure founder and veteran professional caddy. “The players’ participation with us is especially meaningful since it’s at the peak of some of their careers and during an event that means so much to each of them. It really speaks volumes about them and their hearts for charity. It really will be an experience inside the ropes that the winning participants will never forget with the best guys in the game.”
