BALTIMORE, MD. – August 25, 2009 – STX, world-renowned for its patented Soft Face Insert Technology, announced today that the company plans to pursue new independent sales representatives at the 2009 PGA Fall Expo in Las Vegas from August 31 – September 2, 2009.
Currently, the company has established an outside and inside sales team. The two units work closely together to support their dealers. However in order to grow the brand at retail the company is looking at adding several new sales executives. According to National Sales Manager Bob Griebe, “STX is looking to hire sales representatives that have worked with a boutique company similar to STX and have established relationships with key golf accounts.”
Bob Griebe will be meeting with potential candidates at the STX booth #1150. He and the company encourage sales representatives to visit the booth.
STX has developed some creative and competitive sales programs that fully support both the dealers and sales representatives. In addition, the sales staff is equipped with a new line of putters that are demonstratively superior, visually appealing and competitively priced; the Envision TR Putter, and the new interchangeable Profit 4 & 5 Putter models.
The Profit 4 & 5 Putter models are modern and stylish blade putters that will feature the ProFIT™ system, an innovation exclusively from STX.
This technology provides quick adjustments for feel and weighting through interchangeable faces and weights. This capability allows the golfer to control the putter head and speed according to personal preferences and course conditions.
“I am confident that STX will have a successful launch of the new Profit 4 & 5 Putters at the show and I am certain we will hire some talented new sales reps,” adds Griebe.
About STX: STX is acknowledged as being the golf industry’s foremost authority on insert face technology. Over a quarter century ago, the company introduced the first patented elastomer face insert, creating the “softest legal face in golf.” In the mid-90s the company’s research and development team introduced the first USGA approved interchangeable face insert and removable weight system.
Behind the company’s uniquely styled putter heads is Robert “Bob” Engman, STX Putters’ Chief Club Designer. A world-renowned sculptor with works in the Hirshhorn Museum, the Whitney Museum and the Museum of Modern Art, Bob is also a three-time senior champion at Merion Golf Club in Philadelphia.
