With Lady Liberty Watching, Softspikes Dominates Plastic Cleat Field At Fedex Cup Playoffs

Softspikes Captures Plastic Cleat Count at The Barclays; Stellar Weekend Includes Victories at Nationwide Tour’s Pennsylvania Classic, LPGA Tour’s Safeway Classic and Prestigious U.S. Amateur Championship

Brentwood, Tennessee, August 31, 2009 … With Lady Liberty watching, Softspikes® golf cleats – the world’s best selling cleat brand – enjoyed another dominating week, capturing the plastic cleat field at the PGA TOUR’s The Barclays, with 57% of the plastic cleat field wearing Softspikes brand cleats. In addition to dominating the plastic cleat count for the first leg of the FedEx Cup playoffs, Softspikes enjoyed success across all Tours, as the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s Pennsylvania Classic wore Black Widow® Tour™ cleats, while the winners at the LPGA Tour’s Safeway Classic and the U.S. Amateur Championship wore Pulsar® cleats.

Adding to the Company’s weekend Tour wins, 31 of the top 38 finishers at the Nationwide Tour’s Pennsylvania Classic and 27 of the top 34 finishers at the LPGA Tour’s Safeway Classic, all donned PrideSports cleats.
