CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (September 1, 2009) — Golf Convergence, Inc. the golf industry’s emerging leader in creating strategic solutions, presented its Golf Convergence WIN™ formula to a receptive group of golf club owners and operators at the Educational Seminar hosted by the Michigan PGA Section.
The Golf Convergence WIN™ (What’s Important Now) formula is an eight-step process by which a golf course’s vision can become realized. Facilities that have adopted this formula have increased EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) by 12% of gross revenue.
This process emphasizes the importance of strategic planning. Without a vision, the course will flounder. With a great vision and no detailed tactical plans, the financial goals will not be achieved. The finest tactical plans without a talented team are meaningless. It takes all three components-strategic vision, tactical planning and operational execution-to be successful in maximizing revenue, increasing operational efficiency and enhancing customer service.
“The positive response to the WIN™ formula was exciting,” said James J. Keegan, managing principal of Golf Convergence. “Our methodology is highly successful. The eight-step WIN™ progression will be a valuable asset to the golf industry in Michigan, as is has been elsewhere. The Michigan PGA and Kevin Helm, Executive Director, are to be congratulated for introducing new educational concepts to their membership.”
