Slocum beat Ernie Els (Callaway Tour i), Padraig Harrington (Titleist Pro V1x), Tiger Woods (Nike One Tour) and Steve Stricker (Titleist Pro V1x) by one stroke to win the first event in the FedExCup Playoffs. The win was Slocum’s third career PGA title.
