Cap made from wood fibers boasts superior comfort and wearability
DENVER (June, 2009) – Imperial Headwear (www.ImperialHeadwear.com), the leading global manufacturer of premium quality, active lifestyle headwear, announced today the expansion of its sustainable product line with the introduction of its new Tencel cap style.
The new Tencel cap (style GTX2) is composed of wood fibers, which contribute to the uniqueness of the fabric. The material is soft, but surprisingly strong. It offers the coolness of linen with the warmth of wool. The fabric is breathable and lightweight.
“We were first to market with the launch of our eco-friendly products,” said Rick White, President & CEO of Imperial Headwear. “The addition of the Tencel cap to our sustainable collection highlights our ongoing commitment to forward-thinking and innovative products.”
As with all Imperial green headwear, the new Tencel cap is 98% sustainable. Imperial carries a full line of comprehensively eco-friendly caps, visors and sun protection headwear.
