Proceeds From the Sales of USA-Themed Softspikes Golf Cleats, Red Powder-Coated Divot Repair Tools and EZ See Ball Markers, Will Support The Folds of Honor Foundation

Brentwood, Tennessee, September 9, 2009 … On the heels of another successful Patriot Golf Day, PrideSports, maker of Softspikes® golf cleats – the world’s best selling golf cleat brand, and Pride Golf Tees – the world’s best selling wooden golf tee brand, would like to thank all of the golf facilities nationwide that participated in selling the Company’s specially made USA-themed Softspikes golf accessory products. A portion of the sales will be donated to the prestigious Folds of Honor Foundation as part of their partnership with PrideSports.

The specially made USA-themed products included red, white & blue Softspikes golf cleats, EZ See Ball Markers printed with the American Flag, and red Powder-Coated Divot Repair Tools, also printed with the American Flag.

“We would like to thank all the golf facilities who sold our USA-themed Softspikes products and helped raise money for such an amazing foundation,” said John Hohman, VP of Marketing, PrideSports. “We have received an overwhelming positive response from many facilities, and we are excited to continue to support the Folds of Honor Foundation over the next year through our partnership.”

Founded by Captain Dan Rooney, an F-16 pilot in the Air National Guard and a PGA Golf Professional, the Folds of Honor Foundation (www.foldsofhonor.org) is a legacy foundation designed to provide educational scholarships for dependents and spouses of soldiers who are either killed or disabled while serving and defending the nation. The Foundation’s trademark fundraising and public awareness initiative is Patriot Golf Day, a program that generated nearly $2 million to support military families in 2008, and which took place over Labor Day weekend, Sept. 4 through Sept. 7, 2009.

PrideSports was formed in January 2003 following Pride Manufacturing Company’s purchase of Softspikes, Inc., and its sister company Trisport, Ltd. of England. This acquisition essentially formed the world’s premier golf accessories company, as Pride and Softspikes are the world’s leading golf tee and golf cleat lines, respectively. Today, PrideSports is the world leader in the design and manufacture of cleats, spikes and receptacles for the entire golf footwear industry.
