Roy Nix, Founder and Executive Director of the Association of Golf Clubfitting Professionals, an International Clubfitting and Clubmaking Professional organization located in Columbus, Georgia announced today the current lineup of sponsors committed to exhibiting during their annual 4 day conference in October. “Although talks are ongoing with many additional sponsors who may exhibit at RT-4, we wanted to let clubmakers know who is already committed today so they can book their airlines and make their hotel reservations now”, Nix said.
The sponsors exhibiting their products this year includes, FlightScope, Markit Golf, Aerotech Shafts, Aldila Shafts, Club Conex, Enzo Shafts, Golf Achiever – Focaltron, Infiniti Golf, KC Specialty Products – Silencer System, OptimalFlight, Pure Grips, S K Fiber Shafts, Sports Sensors, Inc. – Al Dilz, Swingrite, Swing Science . Other vendors who are considering an appearance but have yet to commit are Scratch Golf, Heavy Putters, AccuLength Junior Clubs, Alpha Golf, ACCRA – UST – KBS Shafts, Alpha Golf, Clubmaker Online, Global Tour Golf – Star Grips and Fit Chip.
Nix says that the 2009 event is the biggest and best the AGCP has every had the pleasure of hosting. The AGCP 2009 Roundtable Schedule will take place October 14 – 18, 2009 in Columbus Georgia at the Columbus Iron Works and Convention Center in Columbus, Georgia. Beginning with the Demo Day and Driving Range presentation on club fitting by two of the AGCP’s Masters of Golf Club Technology Dana Upshaw and Bob Uebelhor thru the Dutch treat dinner at Hunter’s Pub on Saturday evening this year’s event has generated far more excitement and enthusiasm with the members and with sponsors than any event in the past.
In addition to the classes and their exhibit on the floor, FlightScope will be giving a 2 hour presentation on Friday or Saturday afternoon during a 2 hour break from the AGCP’s regular classes. Markit Golf will have their 20 x 20 display booth at the show and will be demonstration their products near the front entrance. Although neither have nailed it down, also in talks about the 2 hour presentation on the second day are AccuLength Junior clubs and Swing Science. “At this point we don’t know for sure how many additional exhibitors we will have here at the end but interest is still high and we get calls almost daily” Nix said. “We have as many registered for this year as last year already and registrations continue to come in at a steady pace.”
