HONMA Golf Co. Ltd. JAPAN-has released a new HONMA iron model, the HT-01. Each iron consist of a larger head that gives golfers confidence at address. The semi-goose neck design makes the ball so much easier to hit. With an ideal center of gravity design imbues this club with superior control and maneuverability. The HT-01 also features a wide-sole design for dealing with tough lies. HT-01 is a two-piece structure of SUS630 stainless body, ES230 stainless forged-variable-thickness-face. Irons #4-7 contains four tungsten weights, which total 7g. By redistributing the weight, it creates a deep and low center of gravity resulting, in excellent trajectory and carry distance. For irons #8 through the SW, we also utilize the weight by moving it internally on both sides, widening the sweet spot and improving control.
The standard production HT-01 is a 2-Star grade (MSRP $345/club), 4-Star (MSRP $975/club) and the ultra-prestigious 5-Star grade (MSRP $1,465.00/club) featuring P1000 Platinum, 24k gold embellishment. The HT-01 features the HONMA ARMRQ HT55 graphite shaft for men and the HT45 for ladies. The HT-01 is available as a 9 pc set (No.4-10, 11, SW) for men and an 8 pc set (No.5-10, 11, SW) for ladies. Sets can be broken into a partial set as per the customer’s preference depending on stock availability.
