Sanford, FL – RIFE Putters would like to congratulate the winner of the Nationwide Tour’s Utah Championship at Willow Creek Country Club, Sandy, UT. Using the Rife 2 Bar Hybrid Mallet, he earned his first victory as a professional with a dominating performance, firing a final round 68. He ranked 1st in Putts Per GIR with 1.589 and 2nd in Putts Per Round with 27, which led to a 20-under par tournament total, four shots better than the field and earned a payday of $99,000.
This is the winner’s rookie season on the Nationwide Tour. The 30-year-old from Lexington, KY is a former standout at Morehead State University. Since turning professional in 2002, he has played primarily on the mini-tour circuit.
With this victory, he moves to 8th on the Money List with $238,200 and is virtually locked-in to finish amongst “THE TOP 25” leading money-winners who are awarded PGA TOUR cards following the Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island in October.
“Everyone at RIFE Putters would like to congratulate the Winner of the Utah Classic on his breakthrough performance,” said President & CEO, Matt Molloy. “We would also like to acknowledge the efforts of our Nationwide Tour representative, Pat Sellers, who not only recently helped Rife claim the 3rd spot on Nationwide Tour Darrell Survey but continues to help players find their way into the winner circle and on to their ultimate dream of playing on the PGA Tour. It is true testament to Mr. Seller’s work ethic and dedication and speaks volumes of him and our products superior performance.”
Week in and week out players on the PGA, Champions and Nationwide Tours rely on RIFE’s RollGrooveTM Technology to earn their paychecks. With over $60 Million in earnings and no endorsed players, its obvious that RIFE Putters has found that for the Tour Players, winning is everything.
About RIFE Putters
All of RIFE’s Putters offer the same patented RollGrooveTM Technology and patent pending Lie-Aline System.
RIFE Putters, LLC is the true innovator behind horizontal grooved face putter technology with a patent on specifically sized grooves since 1997. These precisely spaced grooves allow the putter to gently press into the cover of the ball and grip and lift it into an instant forward roll. Guerin Rife states, “just as grooves in irons help control spin so do grooves in a putter face.” Other companies are now trying to imitate this patented technology but the spacing of the grooves is the true key to the gripping and lifting effect of grooved face putter technology. Horizontal RollGrooveTM faced putters create the truest “no skid” roll in golf no matter where you hit the ball on the putter face.
