The SeeMore Putter Company congratulates SeeMore Ambassador Pat O’Brien, the Director of Instruction at Lakewood CC in Dallas, for an amazing year on the PGA Tour in 2009. Pat had 5 players that he has coached in putting in the last 2 years qualify for the FedEx Cup playoffs.
First and foremost SeeMore recognizes Pat’s accomplishments with his longtime student and friend Zach Johnson, the #4 player in the Fed Ex standings heading into the finals at East Lake, who now controls his own destiny in a bid to win the coveted Tour Championship and the $10 million Fed EX Cup for 2009.
It was one year ago that Pat met with Zach and his team of coaches to get the former Master’s Champion’s game back to the highest level. Zach’s performance all year has been phenomenal, with victories at the Sony Hawaiian Open and the Valero Texas Open to go along with 8 top 10 finishes and over $4.4 million in earnings. In fact in the last 12 months since that coaching summit he has played 30 events on tour, winning 3 times and earning $5.4 million, and is a cumulative 144 strokes under par.
While sometimes overlooked in discussions of the world’s very best players, Johnson’s performance has been truly world class in 2009. He is in the top 10 in 20 different statistical categories on tour, including
1st in lowest round of the year (60 at Valero Texas Open), 1st in 3d round scoring average (68.16), 3d on the money list, 3d in all around ranking, 3d in eagles made (13), 3d in back 9 scoring average
(34.81), and 4th in scoring average (69.57).
Pat O’Brien has worked extensively with Zach over the years to groove one of the most admired and consistent putting strokes in the world. At Pat’s direction, Zach has used a SeeMore blade exclusively over the past 8 years to become one of the top players in the world, having won 6 times on tour including the 2007 Masters. Zach should head to Atlanta with great confidence, as he established the East Lake course record of 60 two years ago in the 3d round of the Tour Championship. In fact 2 of the last 3 years he has recorded a 60 on the PGA Tour, making him the only player in PGA Tour history to have 2 career rounds of 60 or better.

Deadly Precise Putters and Putting System
SeeMore putters feature its patented Riflescope Technology alignment system (RST), known by a visible gun sight on the top line, allows the golfer to set up the putter perfectly each and every time in relation to the intended target line. This is accomplished by lining up the black bottom portion of the shaft between two white lines and covering a signature red dot on the heel of the top line. The process is like locking radar onto a target. The two parallel white sight lines frame the shaft and serve as an indicator that the golfer is in perfect position to make a consistent and reliable stroke
SeeMore originally became recognized when Payne Stewart won the 1999 U.S. Open playing a SeeMore putter. Stewart one-putted the last three holes to win the championship by one stroke. He sunk what’s considered to be the longest putt in Open history on the 18th hole to win the tournament. Stewart also won the overall putting title for fewest putts per round over the entire 1999 season. The brand was re-launched in 2007, and immediately regained worldwide prominence as Zach Johnson used a SeeMore FGP to win the 2007 Masters. Johnson also set the all-time putting average record on the Nationwide Tour for the entire season in 2003 (1.699 putts per GIR).
SeeMore’s newly redesigned website at www.seemore.com and new www.seemoreputtersblog.com has many new features including videos about the proprietary SeeMore putting system and its proven and patented RST alignment system as well as news about SeeMore’s remarkable legacy and Tour success. SeeMore putters are custom made in Franklin, TN.
