Far Hills, N.J. (Sept. 24) – A limited number of tickets are still available for the 2010 U.S. Open Championship, scheduled for June 14-20 at Pebble Beach (Calif.) Golf Links. Since the completion of the general public random drawing in August, all remaining tickets are now being sold online at www.usga.org/tickets.

Both weekly and daily tickets remain. Grounds only weekly ticket packages can be purchased for $425, while grounds only daily tickets are priced at $110 for championship rounds (Thursday, June 17 through Sunday, June 20) and $45 for practice rounds (Monday, June 14 through Wednesday, June 16). Grounds only practice round ticket packages that include all three practice days are available for $90.

In addition, a limited number of upgraded Trophy Club tickets are also available for select days. Trophy Club tickets provide access to an exclusive, on-site hospitality pavilion with air conditioning, comfortable seating and live U.S. Open television coverage. Food and beverages are available for purchase at an additional price. Trophy Club tickets for Thursday and Friday championship rounds (June 17-18) are being sold for $175 each and for $70 each for practice rounds (June 14-16). Trophy Club tickets for Saturday and Sunday (June 19-20) are sold out. All Trophy Club and grounds only tickets include complimentary parking and shuttle transportation.

Championship rounds for the U.S. Open have sold out for the past 23 years.

“Pebble Beach has been the site of some of the most memorable moments in U.S. Open history and where some of golf’s greatest champions, such as Tiger Woods, Tom Kite, Tom Watson and Jack Nicklaus, have been crowned,” said Reg Jones, managing director for the U.S. Open Championship. “The USGA looks forward to sharing with all fans the excitement of the 2010 U.S. Open at one of our most historic championship venues.”

Juniors age 12 and under will be admitted free of charge on any day when accompanied by a paid adult ticket holder. There is a maximum of two junior tickets per one adult ticket. Tickets for juniors age 13 to 17 are available for purchase at a reduced rate on-site during the championship.

For ticket questions or to request a printed application, please e-mail ticketquestions@usga.org or call (800) 698-0661.
