Orlando, Fla., (Oct. 1, 2009) – Golfweek’s Golfest, the nation’s largest outdoor golf lifestyle extravaganza and demo day, will kick off its upcoming 2010 event series by returning to Orlando for its seventh consecutive year. This popular event, hosted by Golfweek, will be held Jan. 23-24 at a brand-new location, ChampionsGate Golf Club – one of Orlando’s premier golf destinations.
“We are thrilled to host Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando at ChampionsGate Golf Club this year,” said Armand Cimaroli, director of events. “Thanks to the direct connection the event has with avid golf consumers and those who live the golf lifestyle, Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando has always been a huge success. And now, with ChampionsGate coming on board, we are sure to have our best event ever.”
Presented by Winn Grips and held just days before golf’s annual PGA Merchandise Show, Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando allows attendees to try and buy golf’s latest and greatest equipment, apparel and accessories – even before the pros do – while also enjoying golf trick-shot artists, long-drive exhibitions, clinics by world-renowned golf instructors, prize drawings, contests, food, games and fun for the entire family.
Open to the public, Golfweek’s Golfest Orlando will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults; children 16 and under are free. Tickets will be available for advance purchase at www.Golfest.com beginning in December.
