Well, it didn’t take long. The 7th tour victory by a player using Shaft Skinz has come around in just over a year. The lucky player who chalked up her maiden victory was playing in the Tenerife Ladies Open at Golf Costa Adeje on the Ladies European Tour.
Shaft Skinz never make any claim on performance enhancement but players who add the colourful sleeves to their clubs have the uncanny knack of producing good results. Martin Greeves, director of Shaft Skinz Ltd., puts it down to what he calls the ‘new club effect’.
“We’ve all had that experience of putting a brand new club or set of clubs into play,” suggests Martin.
“Somehow, we seem to concentrate a bit more, we seem to find that great swing that’s been hiding for a while. Shaft Skinz gives you the sense of having a new club but without all that financial outlay. There’s a real ‘feel good factor’ at work.”
The ‘feel good factor’ for the young Englishwoman in question has had a rapidly marked effect. She had only been using Shaft Skinz’ green Snake Skinz for 2 weeks and had produced a 5th and a 1st place finish in that time.
The company’s first victory came in grand fashion at the Women’s British Open and the rate at which wins are racking up is gathering pace as is the interest in the product.
All the tour players who have decided to ‘Play with color™’ can be seen on the company web site.
