Softspikes® Captures Plastic Cleat Field at the PGA TOUR’s Turning Stone Resort Championship and Champions Tour’s Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship
Brentwood, Tennessee, October 5, 2009 … The innovative Softspikes® Black Widow® Tour™, golf’s first adjustable cleat, captured first and second place finishes at the Nationwide Tour’s Soboba Classic where 33 of the top 38 finishers also wore PrideSports products. Additionally, Softspikes dominated the weekend leaderboards with 63% of the plastic cleat field at the PGA TOUR’s Turning Stone Resort Championship and 73% of the plastic cleat field at the Champions Tour’s Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship all wearing Softspikes brand cleats.
In related Tour news, Softspikes continued its field dominance with 22 of the top 33 finishers at the Champions Tour’s Constellation Energy Senior Players Championship and 20 of the top 36 finishers at the LPGA Tour’s Navistar Classic, all donning Softspikes brand cleats, including Pulsar®, the #1 Cleat on Tour, and the new Black Widow® Tour™.
